PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifungal composition for preventing dandruff that is free from a component assisting in the proliferation of Malassezia furfur, dandruff-causing fungi.SOLUTION: An antifungal composition contains at least one antifungal agent, at least one oil, and at least one excipient, where the composition is free from a fatty acid having 11 or more carbon atoms and an ester thereof. The antifungal agent is suitably one or more selected from the group consisting of zinc pyrithione, piroctone olamine, ketoconazole, tea tree oil, caprylic acid, caprylate, capric acid, caprate and the like. The oil is suitably one or more selected from the group consisting of paraffin oil, silicone oil, terpene, fat alcohol, dibutyl adipate, dioctyl adipate, a fatty acid having 10 or less carbon atoms, an ester of a fatty acid having 10 or less carbon atoms, and the like.
