A method for operating an ultrasound probe wirelessly connected to an ultrasound image providing device through a communication channel comprises the following steps of: obtaining bandwidth information of a communication channel； determining at least one of at least one parameter value related to image quality of an ultrasound image and a transmission speed of a frame configuring the ultrasound image based on the bandwidth information； generating ultrasound image data about a target object； and transmitting the ultrasound image data to the ultrasound image providing device.
