PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for directly measuring a blood flow rate.
SOLUTION: The blood flow rate is measured in the following procedure comprising a video-recording step for recording the blood flow irradiated by a microscope on a video recorder a noise removing step for removing the noise in all the recorded images to obtain an image where the image of blood vessels is clearly displayed a measured blood vessel extraction step for extracting a specific blood vessel from the compiled image a measuring step for measuring and recording the distribution of the lightness in the extracted blood vessel over time and a computing step for computing the blood flow rate based on the variation of the distribution of the lightness over time.
