PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool air after purification without using a heat exchanger such as a heat pump.SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an air purification part 1 a cleaning water cooling part 2, and a cleaning water storage tank 3. The air purification part 1 includes: a case body 4 an air introduction port 10 for taking the air outside the case body 4 into the case body a first spraying means 72 for spraying cleaning water to the air taken-in from the air introduction port 10 so as to clean the air and an air discharge port 11 arranged above the spraying means 72 so as to discharge the air cleaned by the spraying means 72. The cleaning water cooling part 2 includes: a case body 5 and a second spraying means 12 for spraying cleaning water inside the case body 5. The cleaning water storage tank 3 includes: a first water tub 41 arranged under the spraying means 72 in the case body 4 so as to store the cleaning water and a second water tub 51 which is arranged under the spraying means 12 in the case body 5, whose bottom communicates with the bottom of the first water tub 41, and which stores the cleaning water. The air conditioner also includes cleaning water supply lines for supplying the cleaning water to be supplied to both the first and second water tubs 41, 51 respectively to the spraying means 72, 12.
