PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting an RNA which is a transcript of a gene through a phloem of a vegetable.
SOLUTION: The method includes infection of a vegetable with an agrobacterium holding a phloem-transportable RNA expression vector containing a promoter, a transporting object gene, a nucleotide at least containing a specific base sequence and a terminator from the 5 side in the order. The method for transporting the RNA as the transcript of the gene through the phloem of the vegetable is provided by the method. The transporting object gene is e.g. an exogenote useful in an agricultural field such as a flowering inducing gene.
