PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing device including a cover body supported in a vertically turning manner so as to be switchable between a closed state and an open state, and a biasing member comprising a gas damper or a gas spring for biasing the cover body in the upper side being an opening direction, and that is capable of performing the locking/unlocking in the open state of the cover body easily and reliably and conducting the opening/closing operation of the cover body smoothly in less operating force.SOLUTION: A threshing device includes a cover body 27 supported in a vertically turning manner so as to be switchable at least between a closed state with the side covered and an open state with the side opened of a threshing cylinder 24 for performing threshing, and a biasing member 29 comprising a gas damper or a gas spring for biasing the cover body 27 in the upper side being an opening direction.
