PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily enable changeover of energizing force of a gas spring to a state effective and a state ineffective, in a rear cover, in a tilling apparatus in which the rear cover for covering the backward side of a tilling part installed on the lower side of the machine frame is vertically swingably supported on the machine frame side and the gas spring energizing the rear cover to the lower direction is installed over the machine frame side and the rear cover side.SOLUTION: In the tilling apparatus, one end side of a gas spring 27 is pivoted on a spring-supporting part 56 installed on either one side of a machine frame 2 side or a rear cover 20 side, and an operation lever 57 is installed in a lever-supporting part 58 installed on the other side of the machine frame 2 side or the rear cover 20 side, and the other end side of the gas spring 27 is pivoted on the operation lever 57 so that the state of the gas spring 27 changes over to an energizing state in which the energizing force of the gas spring 27 acts on the rear cover 20 and a free state in which energizing force of the gas spring 27 does not act on the rear cover 20 by the changeover operation of the operation lever 57.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 機枠の下部側に設けた耕耘部の後方側を覆う後部カバーを機枠側に上下揺動自在に支持し、後部カバーを下方に付勢するガススプリングを機枠側と後部カバー側とにわたって設けた耕耘装置において、ガススプリングの付勢力を後部カバーに効かせる状態と効かせない状態とに容易に切替可能とする。【解決手段】 機枠2側又は後部カバー20側のどちらか一側に設けたスプリング支持部56にガススプリング27の一端側を枢支すると共に機枠2側又は後部カバー20側の他側に設けたレバー支持部58に操作レバー57を設け、この操作レバー57の切替操作により、ガススプリング27の付勢力が後部カバー20に作用する付勢状態と、ガススプリング27の付勢力が後部カバー20に作用しないフリー状態とにガススプリング27の状態が切り替わるように、前記操作レバー57にガススプリング27の他端側を枢支する。【選択図】図1
