The new species of rice with low amylose according to one embodiment of the present invention is produced by a step of processing mutation by irradiating gamma rays to Shindongjin rice, a step of selecting a mutant with low amylose content, and a step of back crossing the selected mutant with the Shindongjin rice.본 발명은 저아밀로스 특성을 갖는 신품종 벼 및 이의 종자에 관한 것이다. 상기 신품종은 쌀알이 크고 다수확계통이며 아밀로스 함량이 낮은 특성이 있다.
