The present invention relates to new species of rice with low amylose, and more specifically, to new species of rice with low amylose properties and its seed. The new species of rice has large grains, high yields, and low amylose content. The new species of rice with low amylose according to one embodiment of the present invention is produced by a step of processing mutation by irradiating gamma rays to Shindongjin rice, a step of selecting a mutant with low amylose content, and a step of back crossing the selected mutant with the Shindongjin rice.본 발명은 저아밀로스 특성을 갖는 신품종 벼 및 이의 종자에 관한 것이다. 상기 신품종은 쌀알이 크고 다수확계통이며 아밀로스 함량이 낮은 특성이 있다.
