PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle capable of easily incorporating an elastic member functioning as a shutter an insertion tool to be used for manufacturing medical needles and a method for manufacturing medical needles.SOLUTION: The medical needle 10 includes a needle body 12, and a protector 20. The protector 20 includes: a protector body 29 into which the needle body 12 can be inserted the elastic member 64 disposed within a side hole 32 of the protector body 29 and a cover member 62 covering the side hole 32.
