The present invention relates to a herbal formulation for the treatment of retention of placenta. The herbal formulation according to present invention is prepared by using leaves of Heterophragma roxburghii DC, Mimosa pudica, Bamboosa bamboo and Saccharum officinale. The herbal composition used in present invention provides relief to animals without any side effect. The present invention provides an effective and low cost method for treatment of retention of placenta.La présente invention porte sur une formulation d'origine végétale utilisée dans le traitement de la rétention du placenta. La formulation d'origine végétale de la présente invention est préparée au moyen de feuilles d'Heterophragma roxburghii DC, de Mimosa pudica, de bambou Bamboosa et de Saccharum officinale. La composition d'origine végétale utilisée dans la présente invention apporte un soulagement aux animaux sans provoquer d'effet secondaire. L'invention a également trait à une méthode de traitement de la rétention du placenta qui est efficace et peu coûteuse.
