PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-influenza virus agent using a highly safe plant extract that can be used daily in peace exhibiting a high inhibitive effect against infection of the influenza virus without adverse reaction, and influenza infection inhibitive articles, and food and drink prepared by adsorption, impregnation and addition of the same.
SOLUTION: The anti-influenza virus agent is composed of an effective component of a plant extract of Chaenomeles sinensis or Pseudocydonia sinensis, and the influenza infection inhibitive articles, and food and drink are prepared by adsorption, impregnation and addition of the same.
