There is provided a device for holding and releasing an object (2), such as a medical implant. The device comprises two hook systems (11, 12) with which said object (2) is able to be coupled to hold it. Said hook systems (11, 12) are configured such that, in the coupled state of said object (2) to said hook systems (11, 12), at least one of the hook systems (11, 12) is subjected to a force (F11, F12) reminder to maintain the object coupled to said hook systems. It is also proposed a set and corresponding release method. Il est proposé un dispositif pour le maintien et la libération d'un d'objet (2), tel qu'un implant médical. Le dispositif comprend deux systèmes (11, 12) de crochet avec lesquels ledit objet (2) est apte à être couplé pour son maintien. Lesdits systèmes (11, 12) de crochet sont configurés de telle sorte que, à l'état couplé dudit objet (2) auxdits systèmes (11, 12) de crochet, au moins l'un des systèmes (11, 12) de crochet est soumis à une force (F11, F12) de rappel permettant de maintenir l'objet couplé auxdits systèmes de crochet.
