Disclosed are a skin treatment apparatus and a method using laser and plasma. According to the present invention, the skin treatment apparatus comprises: an RF generation unit generating an RF power source； a laser generation unit generating laser； a discharge gas supply unit supplying gas for generating atmospheric plasma； a control unit controlling operation of the RF generation unit and the laser generation unit； and a handpiece including a plasma electrode connected to the RF generation unit, a gas flow path connected to the discharge gas supply unit, and a laser irradiation unit collecting and irradiating the laser supplied from the laser generation unit to skin. According to the present invention, plasma is supplied after the laser is supplied to the skin to be treated such that the skin damaged by the laser is stabilized quickly and immediately and organization regeneration is promoted and thus, side effect of laser treatment can be reduced and treatment effect can be largely increased. In addition, for an operator, it is unnecessary to buy separate laser and plasma treatment apparatuses, thereby reducing costs and installation spaces.본 발명은 레이저와 플라즈마를 이용하는 피부 치료 장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 피부 치료 장치는, RF전원을 생성하는 RF발생부； 레이저를 생성하는 레이저발생부； 대기압 플라즈마 생성을 위한 가스를 공급하는 방전가스공급부； 상기 RF발생부와 상기 레이저발생부의 동작을 제어하는 제어부； 상기 RF발생부와 연결된 플라즈마전극, 상기 방전가스공급부와 연결된 가스유로, 및 상기 레이저발생부에서 공급된 레이저를 집속하여 피부에 조사하는 레이저조사부를 포함하는 핸드피스를 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따르면, 치료대상 피부에 레이저를 조사한 이후에 플라즈마를 공급함으로써 레이저로 인해 손상된 피부를 즉석에서 신속하게 안정화시키고 조직 재생을 촉진시킬 수 있으며, 이를 통해 레이저 치료의 부작용을 줄이고 치료효과를 크게 높일 수 있게 된다. 또한 시술자의 입장에서는 레이저 치료장치와 플라즈마 치료장치를 별도로 구입하지 않아도 되므로 비용부담과 설치공간을 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.
