PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator capable of reducing the work of a treating person in performing a phototherapy or other treatments than the phototherapy for a newborn baby in the incubator.SOLUTION: A light source 46 for phototherapy is fixed to the outer surface of the ceiling 26 of a newborn baby storage chamber. Accordingly, it is not necessary to position the light source 46 for phototherapy at an appropriate position for the newborn baby storage chamber prior to the phototherapy. The other area of the light source 46 for phototherapy than the part facing the outer surface of the ceiling 26 of the newborn baby storage chamber is shaded, and therefore, the light beam from the light source 46 for phototherapy does not reach the treating person performing the phototherapy or a newborn baby in another incubator after the reflection on the outer surface of the ceiling 26 of the newborn baby storage chamber, and therefore, the work for preventing the adverse effect of the light beam on the eyes of the treating person and the newborn baby, etc. can be reduced.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】保育器内の新生児に光線治療や光線治療以外の処置を施す際に処置者の作業が少なくてよく医療施設の建設コストも高くならない保育器を提供する。【解決手段】新生児収容室の天井26の外表面に光線治療用光源46が固定されている。このため、光線治療に先立って、新生児収容室に対する適切な位置に光線治療用光源46を毎回位置決めする必要等がない。また、光線治療用光源46のうちで新生児収容室の天井26の外表面との対向部以外の領域が遮光されている。このため、光線治療を施す処置者や別の保育器内の新生児にまで光線治療用光源46からの光線が新生児収容室の天井26の外表面での反射後に到達せず、これらの処置者や新生児の目等に光線が及ぼす悪影響を防止するための作業が少なくてよい。【選択図】図1
