PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition for an article for disposal of excretion, which generates no odor even in taking excretion out of the article and facilitates takeoff of the excretion, and a bag for excretion which houses the deodorant composition.
SOLUTION: The deodorant composition for the article for disposal of excretion comprises at least one of oil (A) selected from a group consisting of vegetal oils, mineral oils, animal oils and synthesized oils, a hydrophilic polymer compound (B) and a deodorant compound (C), which (1) contains (A) of 1.0-65.0 wt%, (B) of 5.0-60.0 wt% and (C) of 20.0-94.0 wt%, or by (2) having a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.05-0.25. The deodorant composition is granular and its average particle size preferably ranges 0.1 to 1,900 &mum.
