PURPOSE: A composition for skin external application is provided to include steamed ginseng seed extracts, which has the same as that of a ginseng component or different component, as an active ingredient, thereby having various effects including a skin-protecting effect, an anti-aging effect and an anti-wrinkle effect etc.CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin external application mainly with steamed ginseng seeds includes steamed ginseng seed extracts. The steamed ginseng seed is steamed at a temperature of 30-120°C, and the steaming process is repeated 1-10 times. The steamed ginseng seed extracts are extracted by a solvent selected from water, alcohol and hexane. A manufacturing method of skin external application using the steamed ginseng seeds comprises following steps. Ginseng seeds are primarily dried at 60-70°C for 2-10 hours and secondarily dried at 50-120°C for 1-3 hours. The drying process is repeated 1-10 times. The dried ginseng seeds are pulverized into a size of 1-200 mesh. 10 kg of the pulverized ginseng seeds is added into water or 10-90% of an organic solvent, heated at 10-100°C for 3-24 hours and extracted. And the extract is filtered.
