PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heartbeat signal processing device and a heartbeat signal processing method, capable of achieving more accurate heartbeat measurement by appropriately processing a noise signal included in a heartbeat signal.SOLUTION: First and second heartbeat signals, potential difference signals from a reference potential, are detected, and first and second average DC voltage values are respectively calculated as voltage values in DC components of the first and second heartbeat signals. First and second average AC amplitude values are calculated as amplitude values in AC components of the first and second heartbeat signals, and a correlation coefficient of the AC component of the first heartbeat signal and the AC component of the second heartbeat signal is calculated. An amplification factor for amplifying the first or second heartbeat signal is set based on the first and second average DC voltage values, the first and second average AC amplitude values and the correlation coefficient, and the first or second heartbeat signal is amplified at the amplification factor.
