PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of reducing interference in the apparatus, and increasing freedom in standing position of an operator.SOLUTION: An X-ray tube device 1 includes a motor 19 (for an external enclosure device) on the cathode 13 side of the external enclosure device 12, and is supported by a C-shaped arm 4 with the end of the C shape arm 4 for supporting the X-ray tube device 1 as an anode 15 side. Thus, a distance (a) from a focal position to the tube end surface of the anode 15 is shortened for the portion of eliminating the motor, and also a distance c from the focal position to the end of the C-shaped arm 4 is shortened for the portion of eliminating the motor.
