PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multilayer type cosmetics having good temporal stability (haze inhibition, fading inhibition) of carotenoid and having excellent rich feel in use and excellent dry feel after use.SOLUTION: A multilayer type cosmetic consists of an oil layer containing the following components (A) to (D): (A) triglyceride which is liquid at 25°C (B) silicone oil with a kinetic viscosity at 25°C of less than 1000 mm2/s (C) ethanol and (D) carotenoid, and an aqueous layer containing a component (E) ethanol, characterized by separating into the oil layer and the aqueous layer at the time of standing still, and by that the oil layer and the aqueous layer are mixed to use at the time of using.
