PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen sampling tool suitably used for a measuring kit of an immunity chromatography method for detecting fungi and Trichophytons, etc., inherent in a stratum corneum.SOLUTION: In a swab for sampling keratin in a stratum corneum, a cotton ball is impregnated with a solution containing oil which is liquid at ordinary temperature and is nonvolatile. The solution may contain mineral oil, olive oil or liquid paraffin, ethanol and purified water. The amount of sampled keratin is sufficient for the immunity chromatography method, there is no invasion or pain on both of an affected part and normal skin, and since there is no need of a special technique, even a patient himself/herself can easily take the keratin in the stratum corneum.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】角質層に内在する真菌、白癬菌などを検出する免疫クロマトグラフィー法の測定キットに好適に使用される検体採取用具を見出す。【解決手段】綿球に、常温にて液体でかつ非揮発性である油を含有する溶液を含浸させたことを特徴とする角質層内のケラチンを採取するための綿棒を提供する。溶液は、鉱物油、オリ-ブ油又は流動パラフィン、エタノールおよび精製水を含みうる。採取されたケラチンは、免疫クロマトグラフィー法に供するのに充分な量であり、患部及び正常な皮膚いずれも侵襲や痛みがなく、かつ特殊な手技を必要としないため患者自身でも簡便に角質層内のケラチンが採取できる。【選択図】なし
