The present invention relates to chimeric virus-like particles (VLPs) assembled from polypeptides containing papillomavirus (PV) L1 or L1/L2 proteins and target peptides containing CD8+ T cell epitopes from human pathogens. The invention also relates to methods of using the chimeric VLPs as an antigen-specific redirector of an immune response.
