PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel which holds rotation performance sufficiently even when used at a fishing spot severe in use environment, and into which a driving portion not limiting forming materials is incorporated.SOLUTION: There is provided the fishing reel in which a line can be wound on a spool by the rotation operation of a handle rotatably supported on a reel body 1. The reel body 1 has a non-magnetic pinion gear 7, a bearing 6A disposed between the pinion gear 7 and a spool shaft, and a magnetic seal mechanism 30 disposed to seal the bearing 6A.
