PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing capable of improving rotating performance of a rotor by reducing inertia force of the rotor, and capable of reducing the size of the entire reel by obtaining a compact storage form of reel components.SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing includes a cap-shaped cover body 50 having a peripheral wall mounted at the front part of the reel body 1. The cover body 50 through which a driving part 8 rotating in an interlocking manner by rotating operation of a handle penetrates includes: a magnet 151 a tubular magnetic body 21 forming a magnetic circuit between the magnet 151 and a magnetic seal mechanism 150 comprising a magnetic fluid 15 held between the magnet 151 and the magnetic body 21.
