The objective of the present invention is to provide: a dialysis A agent with which the total content of acetate ions in a dialysis fluid can be set to a low value and which has excellent preservation stability of glucose, is capable of reducing acetic acid odor and is capable of suppressing corrosion of a dialysis fluid preparation device and a dialysis device； and a two-part dialysis agent which uses the dialysis A agent. The dialysis A agent, which is used for the preparation of a bicarbonate dialysis fluid, comprises glucose, acetic acid and acetate and by satisfying 1:0.5-2 for the molar ratio of acetic acid:acetate, becomes capable of preparing the bicarbonate dialysis fluid such that the total acetate ion concentration is 2 mEq/L or more and less than 6 mEq/L.
