The present invention relates to an Achillea essential oil comprising at least the following compounds, each preferably present in a proportion of at least 5% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the essential oil: artemisia ketone and chrys anthenone (two combined isomers). The invention also relates to a cosmetic composition comprising the said Achillea essential oil and to its cosmetic use as antidandruff agent or as deodorant active agent.
