PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective deodorant composition especially with respect to solvent odor and to provide an easy and effective deodorizing method with respect to the solvent odor.

SOLUTION: This deodorant composition is characterized in including three types or more fragrance components selected from the following A group or two types or more fragrance components selected from the following A group and one type or more fragrance components selected from the following B group. A group: Lavender essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, petitgrain essential oil, rosemary essential oil, rose ketones, ionones, allyl amyl glycolate, triplal, lilial, citral, linalool, geraniol, acetyl cedrene, methyl naphthyl ketone and citral diethyl acetal. B group: Orange oil, &alpha-pinene, d-limonene, &beta-caryophyllene, dihydromyrcenol, acetic acid p-tert-butylcyclohexyl, linalyl acetate, geranyl acetate, citronellyl acetate, galaxolide and methyl atrarate.
