The present invention is also a fat-containing foodstuff that contains a sugar alcohol and that comprises: a sugar alcohol； a fat； and the sweetness modifier for the fat-containing foodstuff that contains a sugar alcohol. The present invention is also a sweetness modification method for a fat-containing foodstuff that contains a sugar alcohol, wherein triacylglycerols that comprise a C6-12 medium-chain fatty acid as a constituent fatty acid constitute 0.5-100 mass% of the fats within the fat-containing foodstuff that contains a sugar alcohol.
