To provide an adhesive which is soluble in a lower alcohol and the like and has selective adhesiveness wherein the adhesive has excellent adhesiveness to the same adhesive but has low adhesiveness to other materials, to provide an adhesive composition containing the adhesive and to provide a cosmetic containing the adhesive.
SOLUTION: Provided are an adhesive comprising a polyester having a number-average mol.wt of 30,000 to 500,000 and prepared from a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component containing a polyalkylene glycol whose alkylene group has 3 to 6 carbon atoms and which has a number-average mol.wt of &ge 200, the self-adhesive composition containing the adhesive and a cosmetic containing the self-adhesive.
