PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating formed on needles of a microneedle device by sufficiently solubilizing epinephrine while reducing skin irritation.SOLUTION: A coating 6 is formed on needles of a microneedle device 10, contains epinephrine or its salt permissible in a pharmaceutical aspect, citric acid and hydrogen chloride, and has 0.7-1.5 of a mass ratio of hydrogen chloride to citric acid. The microneedle device includes: a base plate 2 microneedles 4 equipped on the base plate 2 and the coating 6 formed at least on part of a surface of the microneedle 4.
