An insect entrapment device is provided for catching mosquitos, flies, or any other insects, which comprising a first container, a second container, and a trap. The first container is for filling with the liquid, and the second container includes a wall and a cover to jointly form an entrapment space. The entrapment space is communicating to the first container, so that a moist environment is established after the liquid volatilized. The trap includes a shaft which may be movably pivotally joining to the cover, and a first fan blade and a second fan blade are assembled thereon. The first fan blade is assembled to the outer part of the second container, while the second fan blade is set with an adhesive on its surface, and assembled to the inner part of the second container.
