The present invention is related to a vortex insect trap comprising an insect catcher, a fan, and a mosquito eliminating device. A flowing chamber for assembling the mosquito eliminating device is included to the insect catcher, and an airflow guiding wall capable of changing the airflow is set therein. Further, the flowing chamber communicates with outside through an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. The fan is assembled to the airflow outlet and extracts the air inside the flowing chamber, so that the air outside may flow into the flowing chamber and forms a spiral airflow flowing to the bottom, along the air guiding wall.
