The present invention relates to a method fo mass propagation comprising raising grafted seedlings by grafting Kalopanax septemlobus (about 700 years old) onto two-year-old Kalopanax septemlobus seedling stock, and reproducing and manufacturing plant bodies in quantity by inducing somatic embryogenesis using leaves and petiole of the shoot stem as sections. The method can be used for the propagation and restoration of useful forest resources and the possibility of industrial use. It can also be applied to the cultivation of other natural forests, mature trees, and breeding of rare and endangered plants. According to the present invention, preservation and conservation of useful forest resources and the possibility of industrial uses are suggested.
