PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably place a distal end portion of a medical probe in a body cavity.SOLUTION: The medical probe P includes: a probe body 10 which is insertable and penetrable into a tubular body inserted into a living body a biological information acquisition part 20 which is disposed in the distal end portion 11 of the probe and acquires biological information with the distal end portion 11 of the probe abutting on an inner wall of the body cavity in the living body and an opening and closing part which has a plurality of opening and closing members 30 disposed on the circumference of the biological information acquisition part 20 in the distal end portion 11 of the probe.
