PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes capable of retaining the concentration of antiseptic solution to a predetermined value or more by preventing the dilution of the antiseptic solution due to moisture such as cleaning solution remaining on a plurality of channels of an endoscope, the outer surface of the endoscope and a housing for storing the endoscope, reducing the frequency of exchanging the antiseptic solution and the like to consequently reduce the cleaning cost.
SOLUTION: This method for disinfecting endoscopes is provided with: a cleaning process for feeding cleaning solution containing detergent to the inside of the housing for storing the endoscope and the plurality of channels of the endoscope, cleaning the outer surface of the endoscope and the inside of the channels and, after the cleaning, discharging the cleaning solution outside the housing an air feeding process for feeding drying air to the inside of the housing and the channel to dry the inside of the housing, the outer surface of the endoscope and the inside of the channels and a disinfection process for feeding the antiseptic solution to the inside of the housing and the channel dried by the air feed and disinfecting the outer surface of the endoscope and the inside of the channels.
