The present invention also provides a protein comprising hepatitis B core antigen (HBcAg) and influenza virus hemagglutinin (HA) or an immunogenic fragment thereof. The invention relates to particles formed from the protein, nucleic acid molecules encoding the protein, methods for producing the protein, pharmaceutical compositions containing the protein, and inducing an immune response in a subject.
