The present invention relates to a composition for activating BK_(Ca) channels, containing a Sophora flavescens Solander ex Aiton (Sophora flavescens) extract as an active ingredient. The use of the composition of the present invention enables effective activation of BK_(Ca) channels. Accordingly, the composition can be used for preventing or treating various diseases caused by inactivation of BK_(Ca) channels or reduction in activities thereof.본 발명은 고삼(Sophora flavescens) 추출물을 유효 성분으로 포함하는 BKCa 채널을 활성화 시킬 수 있는 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물을 이용하면, BKCa 채널을 효과적으로 활성화 시킬 수 있고, BKCa 채널 비 활성화 또는 활성 저하에 따라 발생하는 다양한 질병의 예방 또는 치료에 이용할 수 있다.
