Improved compositions for tissue augmentation are provided. These compositionscomprise an amount ofcrosslinked material sufficient to provide a melt temperature (T m) greaterthan 37C, wherein microparticles can be substantiallyuniformly dispersed and maintained at ambient room temperature as well as bodytemperature. Said compositions also providehigh shear moduli, sufficient to effectively deliver microparticles into densetissue and narrow intersticial spaces withoutsignificant disruption to the homogeneous distribution of microparticleswithin the solution. The provided compositions can be storedand shipped at room temperature without significant detriment to the materialcomposition. Additional embodiments include asystem for delivery of tissue augmentation materials and methods ofmanufacture thereof.
