PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical plant cultivation device in which a larger number of cultivating plants can be irradiated with artificial light by a single artificial light source, power consumption is reduced, and fresh nutrient liquid can be constantly supplied to the cultivating plants.SOLUTION: A vertical plant cultivation device consists of: a pipe for nutrient liquid for supplying nutrient liquid which is extended in vertical directions； a pipe for plants for planting cultivating plants which is extended in a vertical direction； and raising light sources for irradiating cultivating plants with artificial light which are extended in a vertical direction. One or more branch pipes, inside a tip end of each of which a plant mounting part for mounting cultivating plants thereon is installed, are provided for the pipe for plants in obliquely upper directions for each predetermined height width, the pipe for plants is equipped with nutrient liquid supply means for supplying nutrient liquid from the inside of the pipe for nutrient liquid to the inside of the branch pipes, and the raising light sources are installed adjacent to the pipe for plants and ahead in the directions of the branch pipes provided for the pipe for plants.
