SOLUTION: A polymer gel dispersion liquid film forming step of forming a polymer gel dispersion liquid film 2a on one surface of a base material 1 by using a polymer gel dispersion liquid containing a polymer gel and a dispersion medium. It has a drying step of removing the dispersion medium to obtain a gel film 2b by drying the polymer gel dispersion liquid film, and at least the water content of the polymer gel dispersion liquid membrane in the drying step. A method for producing a gel film, in which the average relative humidity is 35% RH or more from the time when the content is 85% or less until the water content of the polymer gel dispersion film is 25% or less.
