PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric knife electrode which causes a small amount of bleeding, does not perform blockage of blood flow, and is easily applied to a resection surface of a kidney part resection and a bleeding part, and in which an electric current density is hard to decrease.SOLUTION: An electric knife electrode 1 for surgery is an oblong shape overall and has a plane view linear blade tip 2. The blade tip is formed in a side view tapered shape from a shaft 3 to the tip of the blade. The tip of the blade is formed to be a flat surface with a prescribed width.
