PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning machine which can be compactly structured without decreasing air cleaning function.SOLUTION: An air cleaning machine includes: a body case an operation display part which is set to the upper part of the body case and a person detecting device which detects a position where a person exists. The body case is provided with a fan which takes air inside, and an air cleaning filter which cleans the taken interior air. A recessed part is formed on the front surface of the operation display part, and the person detection device is located inside the recessed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
