SOLUTION: This air cleaning device X1 includes: a cleaning chamber R2 allowing the air to pass through the interior thereof an ultraviolet light source 12 provided in the cleaning chamber R2 an air current generating means 11 for generating an air current in the cleaning chamber R2 by passing the air through the interior of the cleaning chamber R2 and a photo catalyst grains 13 having a photo catalyst function and stored in the cleaning chamber R2 to be displaced by the air current.
