PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for the tension of upper and lower eyelids, which is sanitary, has a simple configuration, and easily and correctly quantifies the tension of the upper and lower eyelids without imposing a burden on a patient.
SOLUTION: The sensor 10 for the tension of the upper and lower eyelids includes a flexible board 14 formed to have a long size. A capacitance type pressure sensor part 20 is arranged at the free end 14b of the flexible board 14. The free end 14b of the flexible board 14 is covered with a cover 26 together with the pressure sensor part 20. A sheet 24, where the distal end has a width being equal to or more than the width of the free end 14b in the flexible board 14 and which is flexible and formed to have the long size as a whole, is arranged in a longitudinal direction by superimposition on the flexible board 14 so as to be separable. The cover 26 covers the free end 14b of the flexible board 14 together with the distal end of the sheet 24.
