PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article preventing leakage by effectively using a whole absorber and controlling liquid diffusion property by slits provided on the absorber and having excellent fitting property.SOLUTION: The absorber includes: a pair of left/right first slits extending in the longitudinal direction, formed on a crotch part thereof and a second slit formed at a width-direction central side in the rear part. Forward slit parts of the pair of left/right first slits are curved so as to head for the width-directional inward, central slit parts thereof extend in parallel with each other along the longitudinal direction, and rearward slit parts thereof are bent so as to head for the width-directional outward. The second slit is configured into a substantially kite-like shape.
