The present invention relates to a harmful insect trap device, and more specifically, a technique for catching flying harmful insects as well as harmful insects in soil by using the container-shaped harmful insect trap device buried under the ground. A unique attracting agent is stored in the harmful insect trap device while an LED lamp is mounted on the upper end of the harmful insect trap device in order to catch harmful insets by simply burying the harmful insect trap device under the ground. The harmful insect trap device can catch the harmful insects and larvae in the soil and flying harmful insects at the same time to be applied in a wide range of fields unlike conventional products. The harmful insect trap device has an outer container in the shape of a container buried under the ground while using a foldable handle as needed to discharge only the inner container, thereby enabling easy maintenance by supplying the attracting agent, replacing batteries, and cleaning out the insects therein. The harmful insect trap device includes: the LED lamp (2) attracting the flying harmful insects and harmful insects in the soil； a collecting net (3) including a reverse movement preventon unit (7) formed in a funnel shape in the center part to prevent harmful insects from escaping； the foldable handle (1) coupled to the upper part while being coupled to both sides in a rotatable manner； an attracting agent storage container (8) on the inside； and a battery case (6) formed on a side of the outer container (4) protecting components (5) of the inner container (5) while being buried under the ground and being coupled to the exterior of the inner container (5).
