PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and easy-to-ride three-wheel foot-pedaled wheelchair which is easily controlled to have a small turn, like whirling in one spot through a simple operation, and to move and to turn safely.SOLUTION: This three-wheel foot-pedaled wheelchair comprises: one front driving wheel led to rotate forward or backward by a user stepping a loose wheel that is paired with the driving wheel and a steering wheel that can be operated and is provided separately from the driving wheel and the loose wheel. In small turn at 180 degrees, when the wheel chair is turned in one direction, the driving wheel is rotated forward by largely steering the steering wheel in one direction, while when the wheel chair is turned in the other direction, the driving wheel is rotated backward by selecting a mode of largely steering the steering wheel in one direction or a mode of steering the steering wheel in the other direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡単な操作で限りなく超信地旋回に近い小旋回が可能であると共に、コンパクトで乗り降りがし易く、走行時と旋回時の安全性を高めた三輪型足漕ぎ式車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】足漕ぎによる前進方向及び後進方向の回転動力が伝達される一つの前輪たる駆動車輪と、該駆動車輪と対の関係をなすもう一つの前輪たる遊動車輪と、該駆動車輪及び該遊動車輪とは別に設けられた操舵可能な一つの操舵車輪とを備えてなり、小旋回により進行方向を180度変換するに際し、一方向旋回時には操舵車輪を一方向に大きく操舵して駆動車輪に前進回転を与えて行うと共に、他方向旋回時には操舵車輪を一方向に大きく操舵する態様と他方向に大きく操舵する態様とを選択して駆動車輪に後進回転を与えて行うようにした三輪型足漕ぎ式車椅子とすることにより達成する。【選択図】図1
