PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having a waist part with superior flexibility and texture and preventing easy creasing of the waist part.

SOLUTION: This diaper 1 includes a longitudinally long absorbent body 3 including an absorbent core 34 and a wrapper material 2, wherein the wrapper material 2 has such a length as extending from the longitudinal both ends 3a and 3a of the absorbent body 3 outward in the longitudinal direction of the body respectively. The wrapper material 2 is so formed that the respective parts outward extending from the longitudinal both ends 3a and 3a of the absorbent body 3 are folded back to the side of the absorbent body 3 at fold line parts 30 positioned outward the longitudinal end edges of the absorbent body 3 and extending in the body width direction, and the skin contact face sides in the longitudinal both ends of the absorbent body 3 are covered with the fold-back parts 2A. A plurality of linear adhesive coating parts 70 and 71 extending in the width direction of the body are intermittently disposed between facing wrapper materials in areas H where the fold-back parts 2A exist in the body longitudinal direction.
