PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel anti-inflammatory polypeptide derived from phycobiliprotein included in red algae which are marine resources, and to provide an anti-inflammatory composition containing this.SOLUTION: The invention provides a polypeptide consisting of a specific amino acid sequence, or an amino acid sequence in which 1-3 amino acid residues of the specific amino acid sequence are substituted or deleted, or an amino acid sequence in which 1-3 amino acid residues are added to the specific amino acid sequence, and having anti-inflammatory activity and an anti-inflammatory composition containing the polypeptide.
