The present invention relates to a self-expanding prosthetic valve device and its method of implantation. The valve device comprises: a self-expanding stent, configurable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration a valve obstructing member comprising a plurality of mechanical leaflets, said valve obstructing member being fixed within the interior of said stent wherein in the expanded configuration said mechanical leaflets are configured to move between an opened valve state and a closed valve sate.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de valve prothétique auto-expansible et son procédé dimplantation. Le dispositif de valve comprend : un stent auto-expansible, configurable entre une configuration repliée et une configuration déployée un élément dobstruction de valve comprenant une pluralité de feuillets mécaniques, ledit élément dobstruction de valve étant fixé à lintérieur dudit stent dans la configuration déployée, lesdits feuillets mécaniques sont configurés pour se déplacer entre un état de valve ouvert et un état de valve fermée.
