This invention relates to compounds having structural Formula I: andpharmaceutically acceptable salts thereofwhich are inhibitors of the Renal Outer Medullary Potassium (ROMK) channel(Kirl.1). The compounds of Formula I are usefulas diuretics and natriuretics and therefore are useful for the therapy andprophylaxis of disorders resulting from excessive salt andwater retention, including cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension andchronic and acute heart failure.
